<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">When we pray to Heavenly Father, in Faith</span><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">, you will receive the blessing and comfort that you need.&nbsp; Maybe not what you want exactly but what you need.&nbsp; </span></p>
<p class="intro"><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#8220;<em>I offer a plea that each of us will seek to live closer to the Lord and to commune with Him more frequently and with increased faith.</em></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">There have been many conversations about the current global stress level and sometimes this causes minor anxiety among certain persons. It is my wish to share a way that we can destress ourselves in about a minute in order to help with minor anxiety levels. The reason it is so important to have the knowledge of and ability to practice this exercise is because we can use it at anytime and anywhere when we are feeling a little nervous, worried, or concerned. When we are feeling nervous, worried, or concerned, with this exercise, and with a little practice, we can change our feelings immediately to calmness, certainty, and trust.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">The best way to practice this exercise is when you are at home, alone, and in an uninterrupted environment. After training one self with this exercise it should very easily become a habit that can be performed at any time and at any place.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">First, find yourself sitting upright and relaxed, quiet inside your mind and body. Second, inhale slowly, filling your lungs to full capacity, like balloons. Third, hold your inhalation for three seconds and attempt to feel your heartbeat. Fourth, exhale, imagining yourself releasing all of the tension out of your body as you breathe out. In other words, exhale and feel your entire body and mind relax. Do this three times. Finally, sit for a moment and see if you can sense the calmness, certainty, and trust.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">When we do this exercise we relax and take our thoughts, which might be racing due to stress, out of our head and our focus into relaxation and stillness. This can be done at anytime and anywhere but the most desirable place to begin practicing would be at home when alone. Make this a regular practice and you will notice your ability to Destress Yourself immediately.</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve read that our mind is the most powerful thing we own. I believe<br />this because we have control over our thoughts and no one can take<br />that from us. Unfortunately, even though we have the power to control<br />our minds, we do not. Rather, we let our minds take conrtrol of us.<br />When we are stressed we play our stress out over, and over in our<br />heads. For example, someone at our work does something and we get<br />upset. When this occurs we may replay the scenario in our mind over, and<br />over again. Then we start to talk to other people about what a<br />horrible person has done to us.</p>
<p>When you do this you let your mind take over you, and your feelings.<br />This increases your stress. Why do we dwell on this horrible person,<br />and this horrible deed, if we dislike this person and this deed so<br />much, especially if it will increase our anger or ruin our mood? If we just<br />take control of our thoughts, we can think of people we love, and things we<br />enjoy. Or, we can focus on the goals that we want in our life.</p>
<p>When we can&#8217;t remove our thoughts from something so negative then we are<br />letting those thoughts, and emotions take over our life. We are<br />saying, &#8220;This insignificant person who I allow to make me angry is<br />more important to me than the people and the things I love.&#8221;</p>
<p>If we think of the things we love, and are grateful for, and think of<br />the things we want in our life, we choose to change what is important<br />to us.</p>
<p>You have a choice. You could choose to focus on the negative things<br />in your life, or on the positive things in you life. You can choose to<br />focus on what you have and are grateful for, or you can choose to focus<br />on what you don&#8217;t have, and what you are ungrateful for. You could<br />choose to think of the worst thing that could happen in any scenario,<br />or you could choose to focus on the best thing that could happen in<br />any scenario. It is your choice. If you choose the negative you<br />choose an unhappy mood, an uhappy day, an unhappy week, or even an<br />unhappy life. And, if you choose the positive, you choose a happy mood,<br />a happy day, a happy week, and a happy life.</p>
<p>Managing your stress creates success and happiness. If you take<br />control of your thoughts, you take control of your feelings. If you<br />take control of your feelings, you take control of your stress, which in turn<br />creates success and happiness.</p>
<p>The average person may let their minds flow on auto pilot, which may<br />be full of negative thoughts. Dare to be above the average, and create<br />a habit of controlling your mind and make your thoughts positive.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget to have fun and be playful, it is in your nature.</p>
